Quapp offers flexible plans designed to meet the diverse needs of users accessing quantum computing resources. Our current offerings include the Premium and Enterprise plans, each providing distinct access levels and pricing structures to leverage the power of quantum computing through the Quapp platform.
Plan Options
Premium Plan
The Premium plan is designed for individuals and small teams looking to access a broad set of quantum devices and simulators across multiple providers.
For a yearly subscription of $110 per user, this plan enables:
- Access to quantum hardware and simulators from providers such as IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Rigetti, and OQC.
- A usage-based pricing model for quantum resource consumption (“pay for what you use”).
- Project-level cloud storage and platform management tools.
- Standard technical support and uptime SLA.
Ideal for:
- Individual researchers and small academic or industry teams.
- Teams building and testing quantum algorithms.
- Organizations exploring hybrid classical-quantum workflows.
Enterprise Plan
The Enterprise plan provides a customizable experience for large organizations with advanced requirements.
Pricing is available upon request and is tailored to your specific use case and usage pattern.
Features include:
- Full access to Quapp’s supported quantum devices and simulators.
- Custom SLAs, dedicated hardware access (where available), and enhanced data storage.
- Premium support, onboarding assistance, and roadmap collaboration.
Ideal for:
- Organizations scaling production-level quantum workloads.
- Enterprises requiring high availability, performance, and dedicated resource allocation.
- Research labs needing in-depth integration support and long-term collaboration.
Usage-Based Pricing (Premium Plan)
While the Premium plan includes a fixed yearly fee, usage of quantum devices and simulators is billed separately based on actual resource consumption.
The usage cost is calculated using the following formula:
Usage Cost = (Number of Tasks × X) + (Number of Shots × Y) + (Execution Time × Z)
Where:
- X = Cost per task (USD), defined by the provider and device.
- Y = Cost per shot (USD), defined by the provider and device.
- Z = Cost per second (USD), based on the execution time on the selected backend.

Note: This formula represents the resource usage cost in addition to the yearly subscription fee. Rates are defined by providers and updated regularly.

Business Rules
Certain business rules from providers can influence final billing:
- Billing Units: Some backends charge in non-standard units. Quapp normalizes pricing into USD.
- Free Tier Allowances: If available, Quapp automatically applies them.
Billing & Payments
Quapp partners with Stripe, a globally recognized and secure payment processor, to manage all billing and transactions. Stripe ensures fast, PCI-compliant, and reliable payment handling.
Stripe Integration
- All subscription and usage fees are processed securely through Stripe.
- Supports major credit/debit cards and other local payment methods.
- Payment details are encrypted and securely stored.
Currency Conversion
If your payment method is in a currency other than USD:
- Stripe will automatically convert the amount at the time of billing using real-time exchange rates.
- A conversion fee may apply, as detailed on Stripe’s pricing page.
- Your invoice or statement will reflect the converted amount in your local currency.
- Quapp does not add any markup beyond Stripe’s currency exchange rate and fees.
International Transaction Fees
Please note:
Quapp' Stripe account is legally registered in Japan.
Your card issuer or bank may treat the transaction as international/foreign and apply a foreign transaction fee if:
- The card’s currency differs from USD.
- The card is issued in a country different from Japan.
- Or, based on your bank’s specific classification rules.
These fees:
- Are not charged by Quapp or Stripe.
- Are set by your bank or card issuer.
- May vary and appear separately on your billing statement.
